Governance Updates: 02/12/2025

Amid looming tariffs from the U.S., the Ontario Chamber of Commerce(OCC) has launched the Ontario Business & Trade Leadership Coalition (OBTLC) as of January 2025. Leaders stem from key trade dependent sectors to advocate and champion for effective government policies while enhancing Ontario's position as a global leader in trade. 

Today from Washington, DC, the OCC has announced they have added two more key members on the OBTLC. James Scongack, Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President, Operational Services at Bruce Power, and Chris Conway, CEO of Food & Beverage Ontario. Both Scongack and Conway with their invaluable expertise from their respective sectors, will contribute strongly to shaping policy that will enhance and strengthen our economy.
