The Future Ready: Business Summit 2020 is being brought to #PTBO through a collaboration between the Peterborough Chamber of Commerce, Peterborough & the Kawarthas Economic Development and Regional Tourism Organization 8.
DYK: The Future Ready: Business Summit 2020 was given its name after the recently released Peterborough & the Kawarthas Economic Development (PKED) strategic plan. The strategic plan is centred on a vision for the region to become the most sustainable and innovative community and economy in Ontario. To facilitate this transition toward sustainable economic development and innovation, four key objectives were identified. These objectives are supported by a series of 18 Actions that will be addressed over the course of the next five years by PKED through a series of annual business plans. The Summit is designed to be a half-day of learning for business owners and their employees, whether they have been in business for years or are ready to take their business to the next level. Topics this year include mitigating curveballs (business breakdown, stress, succession planning), understanding the psychology of sales, jumping into the circle of sustainability, and opening your business to digitization. Drawing on the strength of the Peterborough business community, we are pleased to be able to provide you with access to 15 industry leaders ready to share their knowledge and experiences. |
