Key dates:
Local business will be front and centre this municipal election as the Peterborough and the Kawarthas Chamber of Commerce hosts nine election debates across the region.
The debate schedule includes eight virtual debates, one in each township in Peterborough County, and an in-person mayoral debate for the City of Peterborough that will be streamed online.

- August 19 – All candidates must register with their municipality
- October 8 – Advanced voting begins in some municipalities
- October 24 – Election Day!

*Join us in-person Thursday, October 6th from 7-8:30PM at Market Hall. Doors open at 6:30PM. All are welcome. Please note, registration is for the digital livestream and does not guarantee a seat at Market Hall. In-person seating is limited and will not be reserved.
All election debates are in partnership with Peterborough and the Kawarthas Home Builders Association and YourTV. Additionally, the Peterborough Downtown Business Improvement Area is co-sponsoring the City of Peterborough mayoral debate. YourTV will re-broadcast the debates following the live event.
Each debate will focus on local business issues. Community and business stakeholders are invited to submit local business issues and questions ahead of time
